Windows 10: I live abroad and the Windows 11 widgets appear in the language of the country I live in

I live abroad and the Windows 11 widgets appear in the language of the country I live in, instead of my preferred language. Setting the Region to my preferred language via Settings is not an option as it will be obviously giving false information, misleading and the correct region is required for the correct currency format, apps behavior...etc.We should have a separate option for choosing the Widgets/News Feed etc language, regardless our real Region, not being suggested to faking our Region, as I read in other topics. This is really not trustworthy at all.Thank you!

Changing Language of Widgets bar in windows 11

I live in Japan. All my language settings are English, and everything everywhere displays in English, but the items on the Widget are Japanese.

In the Widget if I click on Language and Region, it opens this in the Win 11 Settings. Mine is set to:

Display language: English US

Region: United Kingdom

Regional format: English US

So despite above settings the Widget displays it's items in Japanese.

So where does Widget get its setting from? If it is Time zone, well then obviously I wont want to change that from Japan.

In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the make and model number of your PC?
  
• What is the Version and Build of Windows 11 installed on the tablet? (Type winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• Is your PC running on a single language operating system?
  

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Open Settings (Windows + I), select Time & language from the left pane
   
2. On the right hand side, select Language & region
   
3. You may select the desired Windows display language from the dropdown menu
   
4. You may also Add a language and set it as windows display language

Windows 11 widgets language not in english

I agree, I live in Spain, but it doesn't mean that I want to have things in Spanish. For a reason, I have my OS in English, if I set my region in the UK, then, I won't have my local info in the expected zone.
