Windows 10: i logged onto my computer and i get error code 0xc000007b when i try to play rainbow six...

my r6 wont launch when i double click it but it will try and load and if i go into the files and double click it to open or run as administrator it pops up with error code 0xc000007b and it says this game isnt designed to run on windows but i have been playing it for the past couple of months and its been working fine respond if you have an idea on what i can do ive tried several things already like sfc scan and dism command but ill be at my dads over the weekend so i can still tell you if ive tried something but i wont be able to try new things until sunday or monday

Error 0xc000007b when starting Rainbow Six Siege game

I have problem when starting to play Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege game. The first problem is about the missing of mscvr100.dll file but I have successfully fixed it by installing the file which I downloaded from a
site providing any dll files. But then, after that, the second problem/error appeared which was 0xc000007b error (I forgot the exact error messsage). I have tried to find any solution from google.com, but it seemed like there's no any strong solution.
One thing I have done is that trying to re-install the DirectX (https://www.quora.com/Tom-Clancys-Rainbow-Six-Siege-How-to-fix-0xc000007b), but It still didn't work.

So, is there any other solutions I can try?

I was stalking this thread from the start, and would ask for the kind permission of @philc43 to post here.

The thread title attracted me. As far as I knew, STATUS_INVALID_IMAGE_FORMAT (0xC000007B) is not a BSOD but some sort of application error. I am wondering to see it as a BSOD. It is not in the list of known bugcheck codes of Windows OS, as well.

The event logs, anyhow, supports my previous knowledge.

We may imagine that the application that is running during the error message is throwing the issue. And that is AVG.

So, based on it, I would suggest to uninstall AVG, activate Inbuilt Windows Defender and see how it goes. Yes, AVG causes this issue. https://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-for...show&id=129779

[Note: In general course, debugging based on the process name is not a good idea. it will be totally misguiding in almost 99% cases. I am going for it in this particular case on the assumption that it is not actually a BSOD but an application error].

If removing AVG does not solve the issue, read next:
The reference of 0xc000007B does not end here. It is also seen that Startup Repair is also having failures, with the same status.

Boot to Advanced Startup Options from Windows 10 Installation USB or DVD following the Option Five of Advanced Startup Options - Boot to in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums. Then Run Startup Repair for three consecutive times with restarts within every single run. The automated Startup Repair may not be enough to resolve all sort of startup related issues; it works much better if it is run using the installation media.
