I am using windows 10. I am a local user and an Administrator. I login as Maria, but all installed programs list me in the registry as Administrator. This did not happen in Windows 7. Windows 7 listed me in the registry of all installed programs as Maria. Actually, Total Commander does not even list me as the user, Maria, when I click C/Users. unlike Windows 7. How do I get to be listed in the registry installs as Maria. I need to transfer many registry sections from Windows 7, even those that are hard to change, that contain "Maria" for the registry to the registry of my Windows 10. Here is t

Are my Registry Files all legitimate programs?

Isn't there a web tool whereby I can check if programs listed in my REGISTRY FILES are legitimate programs?

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

How to remove a user from the list on the login screen

To permit the sharing of files I need to add a user to my Win 10 PC with administrator permissions. I do not want anyone attempt to login using this user name but it appears in the list on the login screen. I have read a number of other posts where they refer to modifying the registry specifically modifying the entry in Winlogin to implement this.
I have searched the registry but cannot find this key or value anywhere.
Where is this entry and what do I have to add to remove a specific user from the list of users on the login screen?
