Bluetooth speaker wont connect to laptop?


I'm having some trouble figuring out what to do here, my Bluetooth speaker wont connect and isn't even discoverable by my laptop. i want to connect my Bluetooth speaker to my laptop but when i go to Bluetooth settings my speaker does not show up on the list of devices. I have un-installed and re-installed the drivers, i've reset the Bluetooth driver management service and Bluetooth support services but still nothing is working, any help would be much appreciated.

speaker: Bush soundbar model-BSB02BT20
laptop: Hp Elitebook 8470p running windows 10

Bluetooth Connections

My Dell XPS laptop came with Bluetooth installed and I have been successfully playing Bluetooth speakers from it. Recently, I have lost the Bluetooth connection, not sure how it happened.

It does not come up on the Setting Screen anymore. I have tried using the Device Manager, but Bluetooth is not listed. There is no setting in Device Manager for "other devices" as suggested on the Microsoft Help.

Has anyone got any other ideas how to retrieve my bluetooth, or perhaps reinstall Bluetooth. Not sure of any of the technical details of what I had already.
