    I lost my administrative access in Windows 11


    Somehow I accidentally deleted my one and only administrator account which I created manually. Though I have a standard account with no administration permissions, I am now unable to install or uninstall with this account. For this reason, I am also unable to create a new administrator account. I am stuck with it now. At this moment, how can I create a new administrator account?

    To which "this" are you referring?
    - If you are following the tutorial Bree suggested in the very first reply to your question then what you need to do at each step is explained in detail. So which step are you at?
    - If you are following a different procedure then state what it is and which step you are at. If, for example, you are trying to manually enable the Built-In Admin as suggested in post #11 then that account has no password.

    Hi,

    I am planning to change my administrator account to a new Microsoft account on Windows 11. I am confident on technical steps but I have a question on consequences. What I mean by that is: when I change my administrator account,

    • do I lose some data?
    • Can I access the data from the previous admin user folder? etc.
    May I request you to help me with the points where it could go wrong and lose my data or access to the data please? Thanks in advance.
