    I,m a Sailor is date time zone all that important for windows APPS


    good day all, i work on ships for a living so i am constantly changing time zones pacific to the Persian Gulf and back so is it more important to be in the correct time zone at download or what? i actually live in the pacific north west so naturally i keep on pacific but i have herd of sync issues if the date time zones are not matching.

    date and time incorrect for the time zone i have selected.

    My time zone is eastern time Canada but my laptop display an hour faster then the correct time. I have to select central time Canada for the time to be correct but that is not the time zone I am in. My operating system is window ten.

    date and time incorrect for the time zone i have selected.

    Set it for your correct time zone and slide the box for daylight savings maybe ?

    Dont feel bad to go to control panel, Date & Time and manually set the time.

    I'm in sunshiny Florida here;

    Typically, I would leave my computer on one time zone while underway. If I was going to connect my computer to the internet while in port, I would change it to the local time zone.
