Windows 10: I m experiencing frequent Wi-Fi disconnections on my Windows 10 laptop

I m experiencing frequent Wi-Fi disconnections on my Windows 10 laptop. After connecting to my Wi-Fi network, it often stops working after a few hours. Although it shows as connected and secured, I can't browse the internet, as the browser displays an "No Internet Connection" error.Strangely, my other Windows 10 laptop and mobile devices remain connected and functional without any problems. The issue seems to be with the Wi-Fi connection itself, as it's connected but unable to provide internet access. Restarting my computer doesn't resolve the issue, but restarting the router temporarily fixes

Frequent Wi-Fi Disconnections

Hello, I am experiencing frequent Wi-Fi disconnections when I play games, such as Overwatch, I get randomly disconnected mid-game. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have not tried Ethernet and my wireless card is 802.11ac. The computer I am using is

Here are a few steps you can try to fix the problem:

1. Update Drivers:
   
   • Ensure that your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website or use the Windows Device Manager to update your drivers.
     
2. Change Wi-Fi Band:
   
   • If your router supports it, switch your Wi-Fi connection to the 5GHz band instead of 2.4GHz. This can reduce interference since Bluetooth uses the 2.4GHz frequency.
     
3. Disable Bluetooth Collaboration:
   
   • Some network adapters have a setting that helps with the coexistence of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Go to Device Manager, find your Wi-Fi adapter under the Network adapters section, and open Properties. Under the Advanced tab, look for 'Bluetooth Collaboration' or a similar setting and disable it.
     
4. Adjust Bluetooth Power Settings:
   
   • In Device Manager, under the Bluetooth adapter’s properties, in the Power Management tab, uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power."
     
5. Change Wi-Fi Adapter Settings:
   
   • Similarly, in the Wi-Fi adapter’s properties under the Advanced tab, you might find settings that can be adjusted to improve coexistence with Bluetooth devices, like changing the "Wireless Mode" to a setting that might be more compatible with Bluetooth enabled.

Wi-Fi disconnect

Windows doesn't disconnect a properly working WiFi. Mine NEVER disconnects since the last time I restarted my computer. I suggest to check for near-by WiFi radios to see if your channel is too crowded or if all the channels are crowded, just switch to 5 GHz band like mine
