Windows 10: I made my External HDD as bootable without formatting, does that data is lost now?

Discus and support I made my External HDD as bootable without formatting, does that data is lost now? in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; So, I made my external HDD as a bootable but didn't format anything and now it's showing only 30GB out of 2TB.What should I do to revert back to normal...     I made my External HDD as bootable without formatting, does that data is lost now?


    So, I made my external HDD as a bootable but didn't format anything and now it's showing only 30GB out of 2TB.What should I do to revert back to normal and is it possible that my existing is not lost? any solution for this.I haven't even booted through it any way to get that data back?

    Recovering data from USB bootable HDD

    I used my external HDD to create a bootable usb windows 10 installer and it wiped everything on it without informing. Now I've lost everything inside. The 1TB HDD now only shows 32GB so i'm assuming it's a partition.

    Is there anyway to recover all my data?

    Lost all my external HDD data, when I selected single partition drive from External HDD to create a Recovery Drive

    Hi All

    I recently bought Laptop with having Windows 10 Home edition. I did setup everything and I thought of creating recovery drive using my External HDD which is 1 TB drive dividing into 5 partitions. In that External Drive, I formatted one of the partition to create a recovery drive.

    When I ran Create Recovery Drive from Control Panel. It should be available Drives list, which is from my external HDD having 5 different letters allocation. I selected the single partition drive in which I deleted the data to create a recovery drive.

    After that when the recovery drive got created, my addition partitions in External HDD got deleted completed and Lost all my years of Data, now I am not sure how I can I recover it back I made my External HDD as bootable without formatting, does that data is lost now? :(. Please someone from tech team, help me out, so much of important Data I had, I am not sure why it has to delete all my other partition data when I selected a specific partition in the external HDD.

    Data recovery from WDD external after it is converted to Windows 10 bootable USB

    I had 450GB data in my 1TB WD external HDD when i made my external HDD a Windows 10 bootable USB, my all data was vanished and HDD was automatically resized from 931GB to 29GB.

    I have tried to convert my HDD back from bootable to normal but couldn't do it. Then i have it formatted, created partition again.

    Now i am trying to recover data with Ease US Pro data recovery but it is not helping.

    I have been able to recover only windows 10 setup.

    Please help.
