Windows 10: I managed to get myself Locke four of my computer after putting it in diagnostic mode, and...

I’ve tried some of the online advice, and scrolled through the other threads with people having similar issues, but I couldn’t get anything to work.Do you have any advice on how to get Windows 11 out of diagnostic mode?The reason I can’t sign in is because it can’t retrieve my sign-in pin, and it wont let me open an outside application to go around the issue because it would be insecure.If you do have any advice/instructions, please give them to me like I’m an idiot; I am terrible with technology

Locked in Repair/Diagnostic mode

This issue occurs when you have multiple applications running at the same time, excessive startup entries, corrupted drivers etc.

I would suggest you to check if you are able to boot your computer in safe mode with networking follow the suggestions given below.

To boot your computer in safe mode with networking:

1. Turn off your computer 3 times while booting. Windows should automatically boot to the Recovery Environment after 3 unsuccessful attempts in a row.

2. Once you are within the Recovery Environment, select
Troubleshoot, and then Advanced options, then
Startup Settings, and Restart.

3. When it restarts, you should see a number of options. Press 5 or F5 for
Safe Mode with networking

Once you are in safe mode, I would suggest you to check for updated drivers by following the instructions given by Andre Da Costa in the link below:

Also, I would also suggest you to check for any pending Windows updates and install it.

Once that is done, restart the computer and check if you are able to safely boot your computer.

Nobody suggested checking out Event Viewer? When your computer randomly locks, search for, and open: Event Viewer Under Windows Logs, Check out: • Application • Security, and • System See if you can find something that states anything that could be related to your computer locking. The newest events are listed at the top of each section, so finding an event log would be pretty easy to find. Hopefully we can find what is causing the computer to lock.
