Windows 10: i maxed my ram on msconfig, now my laptop freezes in acer logo when i open it, what should...

hello, i just bought an 8gb ram 2400mhz for my acer laptop my total ram is 12gb by now since i added 8gb and once i checked the task manager, the hardware reserved is 8 gb and 4gb for the working one, so i searched it on google and it said that you can change the hardware reserve for your laptop, i did msconfig then i clicked maximum something i forgot the next word and it said to restart my laptop, i restarted my laptop but its freezing in the acer logo, what should i do?

laptop freezes when volume is on max

hi everyone! im new here and desperate! i have this laptop that i've been using for quite some time now and is really dependable given the situation. it screeches and freezes when the volume is cranked to max when gaming or watching a movie. when freezing sometimes, i leave it alone and after quite sometime it would revive itself but lately it doesnt work anymore, a hard restart would be required. but when volume not at max, you could watch a movie or play games until the sun sets without any issues. please help me! thanks!

While I'm not answering your question on a new AV I would suggest as a possible step, upgrading your ram.

Crucial has ram for your device. $40 (not sure about tax or shipping) Your device seems to have one slot so you would need the 4GB stick. As you are using 32bit OS you can only use of 3GB. Crucial says you have one slot for memory and tear down videos seem to confirm this.

Memory is static sensitive. Not as much of an issue when it is humid but still something to be aware of. If you don't want to buy a ground strap touch something that is grounded before starting the procedure and then don't go looking for things. Stay seated and perform. You should be fine.

External ram ??? Even if you could buy you wouldn't have port with sufficient speed to connect.
