I may be in the wrong group. I cannot remove temp internet files totally from my system. Disk clean up, delete temp internet files, %temp%, still always show 17.9 KB after done. Help please.

When trying to erase them, is an error generated? I say this because I understood that you cannot eliminate them. Here the steps to eliminate them:

I also apply this option to delete them:

1.- Windows + R >> Run, now type: temp + Enter, select all the files, and press Shift + Delete

2.- Windows + R >> Run, now write:% temp% + Enter, select all the files, and press Shift + Delete

3.- Windows + I >> Settings >> System >> Storage (Click on the option) >> Select the list of temporary folders >> Remove files

Temp Files : Runaway Creation

Windows Temporary files are created by the operating system during the normal course of its running when there may not be enough memory allocated for the task.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to delete temporary files nad check if it helps:

Step 1

• Press Windows key + R
• Type temp and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

Step 2

• Press Windows key + R
• Type %temp% and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

Step 3

• Press Windows key + R
• Type prefetch and click OK
• Press Ctrl + A and click Delete

Cannot delete temp internet files any suggestions have tried disk clean up, and ccleaner and mcafee tracker remover.

nothing works
