Windows 10: I messed with my monitor display colors trying to make it brighter, but I totally messed it...

I have my work pc, which has dual LG monitors and I run Corel Draw because I own a sign company. I need my colors to be correct, I thought I was just messing with my brightness and ended up making everything off, and green tinted. I cannot remember what I did, and now I cant get it back to default setting on the colors. How do I do that??

Second monitor colour messing up

There is not much to mess up.

You go into the color management dialog as described in the link, make sure you monitor is selected in the device drop down and add or remove color profiles for it. Try going to the monitor maker web site to see if they have a default profile you can download
and install.

 

If you mess with Calibrate display color. settings... can you reset it?

Method 2:

Install latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps. If Windows 10 drivers are not available in the computer manufacturer website, you may install the latest display drivers in
compatibility mode.

To install the display driver
in compatibility mode, I would suggest you to follow these steps.

a. Download the latest display driver for Windows 10 from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

b. Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.

c. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

d. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and
select Windows 8 from the drop down list.

e. Let the driver install and then check the functionality.

Display totally messed up.

Ok, hoping this isnt as awful as it seems. Went to get on the computer, (it was not shut down) and when the screen came on, the screen was a mess. All kinds of funky colors, words unclear, horrible.

I rebooted. Screen still a mess.

It was fine last night when i went to bed.

I had scheduled updates to be installed at midnight las t night. That is the only thing that should have happened out of the norm.

First thought was graphics card. Downloaded and installed. Didnt make a difference.

No restore point. Newish computer and did not know i needed to turn that feature on (should be on by default)

Uninstalled the updates. Didnt help.

When i turn on computer, the words are clear until windows loads, the it gets funky af. So if it was the graphics card wouldnt initial words b4 windows load be cruddy as well?

System is windows 10

Any suggestions would be appreciated (tech support has one answer for every situation: reinstall windows, which at this moment is not possible without buying an external cd driver bc this dumb machine didnt come w one)
