Windows 10: I missed the Chat time frame, HOW to upload ANDROID CELL photos?

I have uploaded Android photos for 2 years via USB from the cell to Windows 10 on my laptop. Now I get the error popup "Something went wrong. We're having trouble accessing items on this device. Is it unlocked and have you accepted the notification to connect? Make sure there are photos on your device." Nothing changed, and all 3 USB ports are working properly per diagnostics in Device Mgr. I tried a CHAT and received via email a support ref # a couple hours ago, but could not get back to it in the time allowed which was only 4 min. So, am starting all over again. DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD AN APP

Problem uploading photos

The only place that allows me to upload photos 100% of the time is facebook.

Techpowerup fails 100% of the time.

And photobucket can upload photos if I do them one at a time, but even uploading a single photo takes much longer then usual.

Any ideas what the problem is, and more importantly how can I fix it?

Its annoying as hell!

Android Device Upload photos and Videos


I have tried uploading images and videos using Windows 10 without any success. Win 7 seemed to work perfectly, but is not the same with win 10. When connecting the Android device to Win 10, it wants to upload everything to Photos, but after a few minutes it states there are a number of images and videos. It asks if you want to upload them and when I say yes it trys then loops back to the same question do you want to upload.

When using Win 7< I was able to select where the images and videos were to upload to which file. In Win 10 it does not give this option. Anyway it does not accomplish any uploading at all.

Is there a way to work around this or to get Windows 10 to upload the device's files?
