    Youtube Restricted lock questions

I have a question related to Youtube restricted mode after Win 10 upgrade from W7 and with the new family safety enabled.

On my administrator account (MS login, not local) I can turn YT restricted mode on or off, and I can lock it in either mode in any browser including edge with my google account login.

However, on my child accounts (Standard user, MS login again) YT restricted mode is always on, but off can be selected and saved for one session. If the browser is closed and launched again, restricted mode is on once again, can be turned off. However any
attempt to lock restricted mode "on" with my google account login does not work? Why can it not be locked? Is it an issue with standard user accounts, or child accounts or both?

  3. Edge and Chrome both not working in W10.

    What a mess.

I've set the Built-in Administrator to active:yes, with a password. I can log into that account, my account and my wife's account. They should be Built-in Administrator, secondary Administrator and Standard user respectively. But they aren't.

I reboot to "Safe Mode w/Network" and both Administrator and Greg are immediately halted trying to run Edge. They are both Built-in Administrator accounts. * see Added below.

Donna (Standard User) can run Edge from Safe Mode. ** see Added below.

I rebooted to exit Safe Mode and the system went all the way through to Log in as Donna without any input at the log in screen. It has no password but why did it go past the log in screen without input?

What an absolute mess!!! How do I fix it?

Do I use the Administrator account to change the account type of Greg to Standard and then back to Administrator hoping that will do it?

Do I create a new account and migrate stuff?

Will that contaminate the new account?

    * Added 21/02/2017:

Greg account is a mixed privilege account. In Normal startup apps work but with errors. In Safe mode it behaves as though it were a Built-in Admin account., ie apps halt.

    **Added 21/02/2017:

Donna Account works properly in both Standard and Administrator user type in both normal and Safe mode startup.

    ***Added 21/02/2017:

As I expected, creating a second user account and migrating the documents and settings is not as straight forward as Neha.Gupta's instructions, from the related thread, would suggest. There are problems with permissions and files in use or not found. The
    process stalled at 99%.

Perhaps this needs to be done while logged in as the System Administrator so the source and target directories are unused at the time of migration. If indeed this is necessary, perhaps it needs to be mentioned.

Also, I can't have 2 user accounts on the computer with the same Microsoft account details. I now have the original broken user account with my MS details and a Local Machine account without them.

So how do I get my MS, Edge, Outlook and other settings from the old user account to the new one?

No. You use the Windows installation USB/DVD to boot the computer and get into command prompt. The tutorial never said anything about re-installing Windows.

With what? The USB Flash Drive with Windows Installation files on it? As Navy LCDR said, boot from it and follow instructions to get to a command prompt and enable the built-in admin account so you can fix your regular accounts.

You have to use an unaffected computer to create the Windows 10 install USB or DVD.
