  2. I moved my roaming folder and now everything it’s screwed up.

    Hello,

Recently i saw a youtube video on how to free up space in your system drive by moving the appdata folders. I only moved the roaming folder. Now, I can’t move it back. I switch the location of the folder back to its original location by using the properties
menu, but it won’t move back. It has also screwed up some of my games and apps. What do i do!????

  3. Roaming folder's setting not loaded comepletely?

I assume you are talking about this folder:

    c:\Users\Jianwei\AppData\Roaming

If so then these steps should fix the problem:

    1. Mark the code line below, then press Ctrl+C to copy it.
    2. Click the Start globe.
    3. Press Ctrl+V to paste the code line.
    4. Press Enter.

    cmd.exe /c attrib -h -r /s /d "%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming" & pause

    Hi Dylan

Okay, this will take a bit of editing . . .

Open the Registry Editor again, it will still be on the same page

In the right hand pane is a lot of entries that contain the value G:\Users\Dylan Reese\AppData\Roaming in the Value Data, do not edit the ones that contain AppData\Local

Every one of those needs to be changed . . .

For each of those, double click the entry and replace the part

    G:\Users\Dylan Reese

    With

    %USERPROFILE%

Please be careful, it is only that part of the path that needs to be changed

So, for example: Recent will be changed from:

    G:\Users\Dylan Reese\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent

    to

    %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent

When you have made those changes, close the Registry Editor, restart (not shut down) your PC, then manually move the Roaming folder from inside C:\Users\Dylan Reese\AppData\ to the AppData folder in your user folder on your C drive . . .

Please be careful when editing those registry paths to be sure you correctly edit those!
