  1. I moved my roaming folder and now everything it’s screwed up.

    Hello,

Recently i saw a youtube video on how to free up space in your system drive by moving the appdata folders. I only moved the roaming folder. Now, I can’t move it back. I switch the location of the folder back to its original location by using the properties menu, but it won’t move back. It has also screwed up some of my games and apps. What do i do!????

    :)

  2. Roaming folder's setting not loaded comepletely?

I assume you are talking about this folder:

    c:\Users\Jianwei\AppData\Roaming

If so then these steps should fix the problem:

    1. Mark the code line below, then press Ctrl+C to copy it.
    2. Click the Start globe.
    3. Press Ctrl+V to paste the code line.
    4. Press Enter.

    cmd.exe /c attrib -h -r /s /d "%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming" & pause

  3. ahelton Win User
AppData/Roaming, folder too large to transfer but it's a must do...

I'm a little confused after reading this so maybe this suggestion is completely irrelevant, but why not move the entire users folder to a new drive? Kari has a nice tutorial on how this is done found here: Move Users Folder Location

Not sure if that would work off an external drive or not, however. Maybe buy a large capacity flash drive and leave it plugged in at all times?

    Moving to Folders

    Hello Krishnan,

Let's work on this. You can follow the steps provided below to help move photos and videos on a new folder:

    • Swipe left and select File Explorer app.
    • Choose the folder where the photos and videos are saved.
    • Select the items you want to move.
    • Press the Move button.
    • You can create a New folder by pressing the Ellipsis (. . .) button or you can press the
Up button located at the right side corner of the screen to move the items to an existing folder.
    • Tap Check or Done button when finished.

We're here if you need further assistance.
