I moved pictures from an SD card to my laptop. The list didn't show "Pictures', so I had to move them to the Documents folder. How can I move them to the Picture folder? Also, how do I delete the data on the SD card so I can use it again?

Move apps between SD Cards

http://windowsphone.uservoice.com/forums/101801-feature-suggestions . This process of moving content from the SD card is something that can be done. In your case this looks to be an issue with the files being corrupted or steps being missed.

Since the process's we discussed here did not work for you consider the following if you make this change again some time. Move as many of the apps from your SD card to your phone storage as you can. Remove the SD card from your phone and insert the new
SD card. Move the apps on the phone storage to the new SD card and repeat the process. Each time you remove the SD card, be sure to follow the safe removal steps to further ensure you do not damage the files on the SD card.

• Which files are you trying to move to the SD card? Are you only trying to move apps/games? How about files such as pictures and videos?
• Have you already tried moving files from other devices to the SD card?
• Is your computer able to detect the SD card?

Try these suggestions:

I would suggest you to follow the below mentioned steps to upload the pictures in Windows 10 operating system:

If your media reader has several slots there will be several 'Removable Disks' listed. The SD card will be one of them

Click the correct drive letter, from the menu choose “Explore or Open”, now you would be able to see the directory of the memory card.

Now you would be able to drag/drop or copy/paste the files to a folder on your hard drive.

I put my sd card in then clicked on windows live photo gallery then click File, and then click on import photos and videos. I have windows live photo gallery on my desk top but it may be listed as a default as well.

Right click on Windows icon at lower left. Click on Control Panel, then Autoplay. Under Memory card, set default to Imports Pictures and Videos
