    I know most people will say the stock on board video should suffice. But I do video editing, but nothing requiring anything extreme. Right now I am using a 1G card my Brother gave me. Don't know what kind it is but it has both DVI and DISPLAY PORT jacks. Compared to on board video, this card seems to work better. We are putting together another home build and I want to pick a gpu similar to what I have. Either 1 or 2 GB is fine but in my research, gaming gpu's are all I can find. I am using...

    B(lack)SOD after closing GPU demanding applications and games

    I would like to suggest 2 more things if you don't mind,
    1. Seat the GPU in another slot, if possible, and see if that helps anything
    2. Use the GPU in another system, if possible, this is a step to determine that it is really the GPU and not multiple defective slots or something else from the system.
