Windows 10: I Need A Tool Similar To: RandomSelectionTool

Hello. So as of the modern Window 10, the "RandomSelectionTool" no longer works on my computer. It gives me an error:





I've already searched on the internet on ways to fix this error, yet nothing that is recommended actually works. That's the reason why I reached the conclusion that this app no longer works with the modern Windows 10.

What this tool does:
It is very simple, once that exe file is executed, it will randomly select (highlight) one item in the active File Explorer folder.


Example:
Suppose I have File Explorer open at "C:/",



When I open "RandomSelectionTool Command.exe", a random item in this folder will get selected (highlighted).

I am requesting for a file that works exactly like this, or a command of some sort. Does anyone know anything like that please? And also, if you manage to figure out how to make the file work on the modern Windows 10, then that would be just as great!

You should add VLC to that list. Plays most anything, except WMV/WMA.

And are we sticking to free tools? Cause I have suggestions for some that cost money, but are well worth it IMHO.
