Windows 10: I need a windows 2000 driver for an intel PCMCIA card model iMC004FLSC-

The windows driver I need is for an intel memory card model iMC004FLSC-10. I have windows 2000 s.p.4 installed. Contacted intel, they do not have windows drivers.

PCMCIA Card With Best Range?

Does anyone have a suggestion for a PCMCIA card with excellent range? My understanding is that PCMCIA cards are better than USB adapters because more power is used for the antenna.

I've tried the Linksys Range Booster PCMCIA card, the Linksys USB Range adapter and some other crappy usb adapter whose manufacturer name escapes my memory. Anyway, not good enough. I owned a PCMCIA card made by Buffalo Electronics a few years back and it was AWESOME, but I can't find it anywhere now. It had a big fat end component (whatever it's called) that heated up quickly, and picked up signals at an amazing distance.

Any suggestions? I'm tired of stabbing in the dark. Thanks!

 

PCMCIA Card Not Detected

Please perform the below suggested methods and see if it helps to resolve the issue.

Method 1

Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter:

a) Write Troubleshooting in the search box and hit enter.

b) Click on Troubleshooting
tab.

c) Click on view all option on the upper left corner.

d) Select the Hardware and Device
options from the list.

e) Click Next to run the Hardware and Device
Troubleshooter.

Method 2

If the above recommendation did not help, please try to perform the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1

Try to download and run the Fixit tool from the link below.

Hardware devices are not working or are not detected in Windows:

Step 2

Try to download the drivers for the device using the Windows device driver update.

Alternatively, if the update fails to register and download the requisite drivers for the device, you can also use the vendor id of the device and look for it in the
Microsoft Update Catalog.

Unknown and uninstalled devices will be listed under
Other. The device will have a yellow alert symbol on it. The properties for the device will show that
no driver was found.

Under the Device Properties, select the
Details tab and scroll down to
Hardware IDs. Each
Hardware ID is comprised of some very useful information. The
VID value provides the
vendor ID and the
PID value provides the
Product ID of the device. Make a note of the
PID value. Enter the
PID value in the search box of Update Catalog. In cases where you have multiple device types listed, narrow down your search by also adding in the
VID value.

Once downloaded and extracted, you can point Device Manager to this driver to install the hardware.

PCMCIA Card Not Detected

My Microdrive PCMCIA Card is detected the driver is install its just not showing up in

File Explorer. Its a bit like the windows 8 problem with the dvd drive not showing up in File Explorer and the only way to get it to show up was to do a registry hack.
