Windows 10: I need an easy way to Intercom my house using PC/Android

My kids will be upstairs on their computers.Rather than shout about food being ready, I'd like some kind of intercom system. A way to throw a popup at them or "call" their computers, ideally from my Android phone.There must already be apps and such to do this.I simply don't know what they are anymore.I want to be able to notify them they're jumping is too loud or that they need to come down for food or whatever; ideally an option to "call" them and start voice chat. Maybe discord, but it might not be intrusive enough. Maybe it can be setup to be?I'm not 100% what version windows they have..

Lumia 820 with BT intercom?

Was planning on using 820 as motorcycle navigator and for that purpose paired it up with my Midland BTX2 bluetooth helmet intercom system. Everything seems to go just ok, signalling led on the intercom and mobile display show that pairing was successfull
and mobile states both music and speech (or is it music and voice/sounds on english interface, sorry don't know for fact, been using only finnish one...) are connected to intercom.



When I turn on music or navigation all audio is output through phones own loudspeaker instead of headset. So the connection is there but it does nothing...



I've updated latest available firmware to both mobile and the intercom, removed pairing, re-paired devices and restarted all devices. Any idea on how to proceed, is there still something I could try to get things working?

 

Uploading data from android to pc

• Have you tried to connect the Android device to PC using an USB cable?
  

However, you may follow these steps to check if that helps:

• Connect the Android device to the PC using a micro USB cable.
  
• You can see an ‘AutoPlay popup’ on your PC once your phone is successfully connected and recognized by the computer. Click on the ‘Open folder to view files’ option.
  
• Copy and paste the files or folders that you want to recover from your phone's internal memory to your PC.
  
• When the steps are done, you can successfully recover and transfer your data from Android phone with broken screen to your PC.
  

Alternatively, if you have the data saved on an external SD card, then you can plug in the card to the PC to transfer the data. You may need an adaptor to read the SD card on the PC.
