    I Need Antimalware Service Executable To Stop Using Most Of My Ram


    A couple days ago I accidentally deleted a program from control panel called "update for windows 10 for x64-based systems" and I thought it was important because right after that my CPU usage suddenly maxed out to 100% then it dropped. The next day I asked some people from discord on why it happened they just told me to do a couple scan in case there's a virus, they ask me to do Windows Integrity Checks like sfc /scannow, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth, and chkdsk C: /f /r. I tried all of them and it scanned and it says that my computer had no viruses and out of nowhere i

    Antimalware service executable high ram usage

    So my antimalware service executable(MsMpEng.exe) is using around 200mb ram and slowly keeps going up the longer my pc is on.

    Ive added it to the list of exclusions and unchecked all conditions in task scheduler. Can someone tell me how to reduce the ram usage without disabling it? Because i dont have any other antivirus.
