  2. BSOD need minidump analysed

    My laptop running Windows 10 has recently been crashing and BSOD or occasionally the orange screen has appeared. I have the mini dump files of previous crashes and was wondering if anybody could analyse them and advise me on steps to fix the issue.

    BSOD need minidump analysed

    Hello Sean,

    Blue screen errors are usually caused by hardware or driver issues. For better assistance, we'd like to know the following information:

    • What is the make and model of your PC?
    • Which version of Windows 10 are you using?
    • When did the issue occur?
    • Were there any changes made on your PC prior to this?
    • Are you getting any error messages?
    • Do you have any third-party antivirus software installed on your PC?

    You may post the minidump files here, so we can check it. Meanwhile, we suggest that you read the guidelines here:
    Troubleshoot blue screen error. Choose when did you get the error, and then follow the instructions that
    will be provided.

    Get back to us with the response for further assistance.

    It's a rather typical (not very informative) BSOD.

    Could be failing hardware, could be faulty driver, could be BIOS settings.
    I recommend you run memtest86+ from bootable CD / USB.

    Also. Please attach your minidump file (found in C:\Windows\Minidump\), so we can analyse it and may be able to tell you which part failed (eg. driver).
