Do you enjoy a challenge? I've created a monster and I need an expert to help me fix it. It all started when I was getting a lot of spam and trojan emails. I decided to change my email to stop them from coming. Over time they began to appear again so I changed my email again. I had some technical problems with Windows 10 so I migrated to 11. At that point I had three Windows accounts, but was only using the most recent one. Once I realized those two other accounts were still out there I deleted them. That only compounded the problem.   article to change the name of your Microsoft account?
• Have you tried checking if there available updates for your Windows 10?
• When you said that "when I log on to my laptop the user account is still showing the old name", are you referring on the sign-in screen name?

you can change the name of Microsoft in the user folder? (That would be the first 5 characters Microsoft account)
I wish I could do this without losing anything of what I have currently installed.
