Bit of a desperation, I figured since my computer's keyboard was working yesterday, and that I made zero hardware changes, That it couldn't possibly be a faulty built-in keyboard. Now, I'm about to list out all of the methods I've gone through to rule out, it will start to sound like I might need a replacement, but preferably, if there are any methods I have not done, I'd like to know.- I've tried changing my keyboard language through settings, checked if the desired language is selected. Returned positive, its set properly - I've tried checking my accessibility settings, checked sticky keys

  2. Built-in laptop keyboard works in BIOD but not in Windows

Since that is the case and even updating the device driver does not allow the built-in keyboard to work in Windows 10, we suggest that you uninstall the current device driver of the built-in keyboard. Doing this will allow the system to install a clean copy
of the device driver and correct any errors.

You can follow the steps on how to uninstall and reinstall the device driver for your built-in keyboard that is available through this

    link
. Refer to the last section of the article where the steps are indicated.

    Regards.

  3. How to disable a laptop keyboard

    Hi,BvinR

My name is Erik. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

I've looked for the details regards about your concern and it will provide you the steps on how to fix the issue.

    kindly click this link

I suggest you follow the steps below and check if that helps:

    1. Press Windows + X and select Device Manager from the list.

    2. Find Keyboards in the list of devices and click the arrow to expand it.

3.Right-click on the internal keyboard and click Disable.

    5. Click on Yes in the resulting dialog box to confirm the action and disable the laptop’s built-in keyboard.

    6. If you don’t see a Disable option in the resulting context menu, you will see an Uninstall option, and you can click on that to uninstall the drivers for the built-in keyboard instead of simply disabling it.

    Take Note:

Windows 10 might automatically update the drivers after detecting the keyboard. If that happens, you will have to make your way back to the Device Manager and uninstall the drivers for the laptop’s built-in keyboard once again.

if these steps did not resolve the issue kindly try this workaround method
