Windows 10: I need help finding a new battery that fits my laptop.

Hi I need help finding a battery that fits my ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506IU_TUF506IU. I need the same battery as what came with the laptop or a better battery. I would prefer a better battery and from ASUS or any other good brands. I don't know but my battery barely lasts any time. It only lasts for like 2 hours.

I need HELP with finding a new laptop

Hi guys.
I am looking for a new laptop for work. The requirements I have are:

• Portability & Lightweight since I have to carry it around every single day
• 13'' with at least 8GB RAM the more the better but that will do
• at least 8 hours of Battery life I don't want to stress about that
• 500 GB HD will do
• I need it to work fast!

Honestly, I want to buy a MacBook, but it's pricey so I am not sure it is worth it. What will you suggest?

 

Laptop not booting to Windows 10 after new battery installed.

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I would suggest you to contact your manufacturer regarding the battery issue. As of now you can power drain your laptop and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below:

• 
  Disconnect the AC Adapter.
  
• 
  Remove the Battery.
  
• 
  Hold the Power button down for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  
• 
  Reconnect the AC adapter.
  
• 
  Turn on the laptop power.

laptop battery wont charge after latest update

1. Shutdown your laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Connect the AC power adapter to your laptop.

4. Power on the laptop

5. Open the Device Manager by typing Devmgmt.msc into Start Menu or from Control Panel.

6. Under the Batteries category, right-click all of the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery listings, and select Uninstall (it’s okay if you only have 1).

7. Shutdown the laptop.

8. Insert the battery.

9. Power on the laptop.

If above suggestions wont resolve the battery charge issue then follow below steps.




Step 2

1. Shutdown the laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Start the laptop with only AC adapter connected to laptop.

4. When you login to Windows OS connect the battery while Windows OS working.
