Windows 10: I need help finding what is causing a particular sound.

I've got a new Precision 7550 laptop running Windows 11, but there's this problem that's been driving me crazy.Here's the deal: Whenever I'm on the desktop screen and press any key on my keyboard, I hear the Windows "Asterisk" sound. It's really frustrating, but thankfully it only happens in a few video games when I bring up the game chat box using the "/" key. Other than that, the sound only plays when I'm on the desktop. Even if I have my desktop open on my laptop screen, when I switch over to my second monitor the problem stops.I've tried using a different keyboard, but the issue remains. I

• Type and select Troubleshooting on the Search bar/Cortana.
• Click Hardware and Sound.
• Select Playing Audio under Sound.
