Windows 10: I need help fixing Outlook. I am using Windows 11 on a laptop. I am not able to send or...

I am able to open Outlook, but I am cannot send or receive emails. I am also not able to download them or send them on my IPad Pro or my IPhone 13 Pro Max since December 31, 2023. Previously to Dec. 31, I was not able to open the Outlook as I kept getting an error message, but that is resolved. I think that one of the problems is the passwords have been changed so much that the computer is confused.

Your 'My Computer' doesn't list any third party antivirus, is that correct?

You mentioned that is doesn't appear to be connected to other apps. Have you observed the fault happening in Outlook with nothing else running, no apps or browsers?

  What type of email account are you working on? Is it POP3, IMAP or Exchange server email account?

Try the following steps and check if it helps:

Step 1:

As your email are stuck in Outbox folder, try to move it or delete it and then try sending emails and verify the result.

If the issue persists then follow the below step.

Step 2:

I suggest you to start Outlook in safe mode following the below mentioned instructions and see if it helps:

1. Hold Windows key +
R.

2. Copy and paste, or type the following command in the Open box, and then press
Enter:

Outlook /safe


Note: There is space between Outlook and /

If Outlook safe works, disable the add-ins and check.
