Windows 10: I need help fixing the internet connection on my device it all of a sudden stopped working...

I have a router that has a speed of around 200 mbps. Everything seemed fine and the Wi-Fi on my computer was 200 mbps as usual and one day the Wi-Fi speed on my computer dropped down to around 30-40 mbps randomly. I restarted my computer to see if that would do anything and when my computer restarted, I went to test the Wi-Fi speed again and it was still around 30-40 mbps. I decided to unplug my router for 15 seconds and and plugged it back in and tested the Wi-Fi again and as usual, 30 mbps. I was getting frustrated about this and I just decided to leave it and thought it would fix itself. 1

Internet stops working randomly...

Hi...I use Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer...they both work fine...and then all of a sudden, my internet stops working...I have recently found out if i connect to 62.252.64.16:8080, I can use the internet again...but it always works on auto detect proxy settings until that time it just goes...so why does it just...stop working??? And when I set it to connect to 62.252.64.16:8080, EVERYTHING apart from AIM works....wtf....please...I am in DESPERATE NEED OF ASSISTANCE...NTL CUSTOMER SERVICES IS BULLSHIT AND DOESN'T HELP

Try the below methods and check if it helps with your issue.

Method 1:Internet Troubleshoot

Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Internet connection. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your internet.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• 
  Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
  
• 
  Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
  

Run the Internet Connection troubleshooter

Method 2: I suggest you to update drivers and check if that helps. If that issue persist please uninstall and reinstall latest drivers available in manufacturer
website.

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.

• 
  Select Network Adapter and expand the driver icon.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
  
• 
  Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver.

Help! Help ! With Internet........

Hi All,

So, I built this new PC and everything was working fine. I was on the internet, RDP to my work, everything was fine.

I replaced my older Dell Monitor with a LG Monitor. Then, all of a sudden, my internet stopped working. My Laptop still works on wireless, I'm leaving this feedback. But my desktop, does not work on wired or wireless.

Network info says there is no Ethernet, even though the Device Manager lists them just fine.

Suggestions from anyone would be helpful.
