Windows 10: I need help for restoring the old version 22H2 of File Explorer. The 23H2 File Explorer...

This is the worst update they made for the File Explorer. The latest Update 23H2 killed the drag and drop feature in File Explorer's Address Bar.I'm one of those people who drags and drop files through the address bar as part of my work. That feature is very useful and necessary for my work but they/you blew it.Now it is very hassle and difficult to use unlike before. Windows 11 Version 22H2 File Explorer Ribbon

Windows 11, version 22H2 has updated the file explorer ribbon. Before the update we were able to revert to the classic file explorer ribbon by using a register fix. But since the 22H2 update the fix has been disabled and we are stuck with the windows 11 file explorer ribbon. Is there a fix in the works to allow users to restore the classic file explorer ribbon? I find it much easier to work with the classic ribbon rather than the new “simplified” one.

Windows Explorer crashing due to large files

So I downloaded project reality a mob for BF2 I used uTorrent to download the file and it check to make sure it wasnt corrupt.

Everytime I try to do anything with the file windows explorer hangs and I have to restart it.

This is the same for the old version of project reality. I cannot delete it.

I have never had this happen.

The files in question are 1.8 GB

It's an .exe right? Explorer probably read its icon (to a cache) when it was a "small" file and now call the quits when it finds "such a big" file.

If you want to delete it, use the console after killing explorer, you can run the console from TaskManager (Application -> New Task -> cmd). You might want to try copy the file to a different location (copy, not cut) and see if explorer can handle it in the new location before deleting it.
