Windows 10: I need help getting in my Microsoft Money Plus Premium software.

I need help getting in my Microsoft Money Plus Premium software. I know you don't support it anymore but I still use the software. I bought a new computer and tried to install it but it is requiring me to register it. It allowed me to use it for 60 days but now has me locked out. There is no way to register it on line so I need the registering part disabled so I can get to my money files.

Microsoft Money Plus will not work with Windows 10 with Edge.

I was running Money 2004 Premium on the Windows 7 Professional platform. I upgraded to Windows 10 and Money 2004 would no longer run; I received the error message saying that I needed to "reload IE 6" that others have reported.

I tried to address this by upgrading from Money 2004 Premium to Money Plus. Still had the same error message.

In doing subsequent research, I found this forum. I tried he fix suggested by Keith Oxley (thanks Keith) 8 Aug 2015 and it worked perfectly. I note two things:

First, on my machine the path was "Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer" so I don't know what the outcome would have been if I had encountered the other path that Keith cites.

Second, following the path through the various files and subfiles was somewhat confusing so it is possible for an error to be made here.

One of the comments in this forum suggested that Microsoft fix this problem since so many people are encountering it. Good suggestion but in the interim, it might be helpful if someone were to put up a step by step video on U-tube
to lead folks through the process.

The steps for running Microsoft Money Plus in Compatibility mode does not work. Are there any other suggestions for this to work?
