Windows 10: I NEED HELP INSTALLING A BLUE TOOTH DRIVER

I OPENED THE DEVICE MANAGER AND THERE IS NO BLUE TOOTH DRIVER. WHAT SHOULD I DO ?

blue tooth driver vanished

seems my blue tooth driver vanished. in settings, when blue tooth is selected, there is no toggle to turn it on. No buttons present that do anything.

In Control panel , under devices, where you are seeing a list of all the drivers, there is no Blue Tooth listed. Reading the list from the top: Audio; batteries; computer. No blue tooth.

 

Installed a blue tooth speaker and a blue tooth dongle and down loaded blue tooth drivers for Win 8 cannot get the to work together!

BLUE TOOTH INSTALLATION

I understand your concern, and we in Community will try to help you in the best possible way we can.

I suggest you follow the below steps and check:

Uninstall and install the Bluetooth driver.

a) Press Windows + X and select
Device Manager from the list.

b) Locate the Bluetooth driver and expand it.

c) Right click on the Bluetooth driver and select Uninstall.

d) Follow the onscreen instructions to uninstall the driver.

e) Restart the computer. The driver will get reinstalled again after the computer restarts.

If you are unable to find Bluetooth in device manager,
I suggest you to go to the manufacturer’s website and check for any updated drivers available there. If so, try to install them and check if it fix the issue

If no updated drivers available then try installing the available drivers in compatibility mode.

Refer the steps:

• 
  Download the Drive from the manufacture’s website, Right click on the setup file and select Properties.
  
  
  
• 
  Click the compatibility tab, tick the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows.
  

If the issue still persist, I suggest you to update or install drivers for
BT mouse and Keyboard and check if it helps.
