Windows 10: I need help linking my phone text messages to my PC. Can anyone help?

I just linked my phone to my laptop to get text messages to my PC. I need 6 months of text messages from one contact for a book deal. I am only seeing about 10% of the messages. How can I get them all? I need messages as far back as June 15th. This is my 2nd attempt. I bought a program online that was supposed to accomplish this but it only showed one side of the conversation. It had something to do with my advanced texting features that were on. Short of taking screenshots I am stumped.

Here's how you can link your phone to your PC:

• On your PC, click the Windows key, then select Settings > Phone.
• Select Add a phone, enter your phone number, then click
  Send.
• On your phone, check if you received a text message from Microsoft. If you receive the text, open it, and then tap the link.
• It will open the App Store or the Google Play Store to a Microsoft app that links your phone and PC. Install the app.
• Once installed, open the app and follow the on-screen instructions.

Sending text from pc

You can use the Your Phone app. I do it all the time *Wink

• Link Android Phone to Windows 10 PC
• Send Text Messages from Android Phone in Your Phone app on Windows 10

Obviously "free" is dependent on your service agreement with your carrier.

Any way I can send cell phone texts from my PC?

Something like this --> MobiClient or this --> SMS with Gmail

There are a lot of options out there...Free or Paid.
