I need help my default speaker and mic keeps changing when using bluetooth deviceex speaker...

The problem I am facing is that I updated my drivers using AVG updater and after that it is happening that when I try to connect my Bluetooth speaker, it connects but audio system is switching too fast. I have posted the video regarding this particular thing. When I faced this issue I tried to uninstall the driver and then install thorough windows updater but this didn’t work. At last I did was reset the laptop while keeping my files but removing settings but still the problem is not fixed and I am not able to find the specific problem on the net also. And this is the first time I’m using Quor

    :)

  2. Bluetooth speaker not playing

    Hello Tanya,

Your Bluetooth speaker might be paired with your PC but not connected. You can try the following steps to manually connect it:

    • Make sure your Bluetooth speaker is turned on.
    • On the far right of the Windows taskbar, press and hold (right-click)
      Volume
, and then select Playback devices.
    • On the Playback tab, select the Bluetooth speaker, press and hold (or right-click) it, and then select
      Connect.
    • Select your Bluetooth speaker, and then select Set default. Music should play on your Bluetooth speaker now.

Let us know if performing the steps makes any difference.

Bluetooth speaker with mic - mic not working when connected on Win10

    Hi all,

We have bought a speaker for our office to use in conferences.

The bluetooth speaker has a microphone, and works fine (both mic and speaker) when connected to a smartphone.

The problem appears when we connect it to a laptop. Although it appears in the bluetooth settings menu with as a Headset with a headset icon, and when connected it shows: "Connected voice, music", the microphone
    of the speaker doesn't work.

In the Sound Settings, the speaker is selected both in Output and Input, but when testing, no sound is recorded, even though the speaker works (you can hear sound through it).

    • All bluetooth drivers have been reinstalled and are up to date

    • We have run the Troubleshoot unsuccessfully, getting the following response: “Troubleshooting couldn’t identify the problem”.

Under Device properties > Properties > Details > Device Description is listed as
    Bluetooth Hands-Free.

Is there anything else we can do at this point? This has been tested on 2 computers.

Is this an issue with Windows 10 and Bluetooth speakers with microphones?

    Many thanks for any help!
