  1. I need help opening files on an external hard drive

Hoping someone on here can help us out here, we are a small company involved in grounds development with only a handful of employees. We recently had an employee who decided to to move on and part of their duties was to back up files onto an external hard drive every couple of of months which they did without fail but upon trying to access these files we have found that they have password protected them in some way as when we try to access them we get a message saying we need the users permission to view them and we can’t figure out how to get past this issue. We have tried to get in touch but

    :)
