Windows 10: I need help resetting my old HP Notebook so I can sell it.

I have been planning on selling my old laptop for some time now, but I’m having difficulty resetting it. The issue is I need additional space. I went and purchased a hard drive, transferred file to that hard drive, but I’m having difficulty removing the files from my actual computer. Today, I tried it again and said that I had 191 MB of space needed, I felt excited because usually it’ll be above 1 GB. However, when I started clearing space, the amount I needed would increase. I did some research and took the advice from bob omb regarding the command prompt and that didn’t work. My function key

I see that your laptop’s battery is not charging. We would like to know, if you get a message stating plugged in not charging when hovering the mouse over the battery icon.



If you see the message plugged in not charging, I suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned below and see if that helps:

1. Press Windows Logo key + X, and select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand Battery.
   
3. Right click on Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery, and select
   Uninstall.
   
4. Click OK to confirm.
   
5. Restart the computer.

Windows 10 resetting on hp notebook

Hello

I'm trying to reset my hp notebook to have a fresh start on my hp notebook, the resetting will only get stuck at 54% and complain reset can't be completed. After this process my hp notebook can't boot to the desktop anymore.

Can't update the HP Pavilion Notebook.

I'm trying to update my system and am getting a message to delete HP Pavilion Notebook - BIOS manually as it is incompatible with the upgrade.

I can't find it to delete it. It's not in the Programs list with the other HP apps.

Any suggestions?
