Windows 10: I need help restoring my Thumbnail View for my .csp files!

So, a while back I updated to Windows 11 when it first became available because someone told me "what's the harm" and I have had a plethora of problems since--most recently I have grown frustrated with my thumbnail view being gone when in my file folder because good lord I am usually tired in the moment and name my files something usually generic and my missing thumbnail view seems to only effect my .csp/.mdp files, not any .psd files & obviously .png files!I honestly don't know where to start and I am not the most tech savvy when it comes to fixes like this.The windows 11 version I am cur

Pdf File View in Windows / File Explorer NOT

Hi,

After cleaning out the thumbnail cache, I went to restore and found an old enough restore point. The MS powers that be were on my side today as Restore actually worked this time (1st time on this machine).

Lo and behold I can now view pdf thumbnails in file explorer. Thank you for all your suggestions.

I did DL the tutorial list from the forum to help me in the future.

Now to work on the thumbnail generation of the vp3 files. I’ll tackle that one Monday.

Windows 10 Picture Files not updating thumbnails

Hi,

I realize that the picture files are not updating thumbnails. I will try to help you with this issue.

Suggest you to perform “Disk Cleanup”, cleaning up the temporary internet files, thumbnail, cookies and temp files, so as to check the thumbnail view of the photo is updated by cleaning up your temporary data.

Further, if the issue persists then you can also follow these steps:

• 
  Right click in the Folder that contains the images.
  
• 
  Select View.
  
• 
  Note the current icon size, and change it to another size (ie: "Medium-Icons" to "Large-Icons", then back to "Medium-Icons").
  
• 
  This causes the icons to be resized and their cache updated.
