    I need help to reclaim key stuck in old broken motherboard.


    Hi.I recently had a problem with my motherboard that required me to return it to the store and per warranty i was given a new one.I asked the customer support about the windows key there and they said i needed to report it to microsoft to detach the key from the old motherboard so i can use it on my new one.Ive tried putting in a request to contact customer support, but both tickets ive tried to put up, i see the log says:"A representative has been assigned" and then "The problem is solved" even though i have not recieved any phone calls and nothing has been solved.

    Choice of memory and motherboard... a bit stuck...

    No one who got some suggestions on this one, huh?

    I've found out that the Asus M3A78-T needs to be flashed, so then that motherboard is excluded from my list. Which motherboard and memory should I then go for? Any suggestions?

    is it possible to hand build a motherboard?

    Might I suggest you simply build a computer, making notes and taking pictures step by step. Most people (probably including your teacher) have no idea even where to start building a computer. You'll do fine, and if you get stuck we're here to help ya out! *Toast :toast:
