Windows 10: I need help with Cutting, cropping and snipping

I have part of a NOAA map saved with the section outlined that I want to cut out. The section to be cut out must retain it's capabilities to zoom in and out. If I do manage to cut the section out, I will then attempt to place it into an app Homeport. Please be advised that I tried the NOAA site with their download instructions but I was unable to understand anything the directions said! I have tried a lot of apps that claim to be able to cut, etc. but cannot understand what they say I should do! It is a simple project, cutting out the section and placing it into another app....yet I have

Crop Function Greyed out

Usually when you preview a picture that was captured from camera app, it should open in the photos app where you can edit/crop it. I would suggest you to try editing/cropping the photos in
Photos app.
As you mentioned that issue occurred after the update, I would suggest follow the steps provided below and check if that helps:



Method 1: Please follow the steps provided in the article: Fix problems with apps
from Microsoft Store.



Method 2: Reinstall the app using PowerShell.

1. Open PowerShell and run it as admin. To open PowerShell, right click on the start button and then on Windows PowerShell (Admin).
   
2. Then type: Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsCamera | Remove-AppxPackage.
   
   
3. Reboot your computer.
   
4. Open PowerShell again and then type: Reinstalling apps:
   Get-AppXPackage -allusers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

snipping tool

Your post is unclear. Please post a step-by-step description of what you are doing, e.g. like so:

• Open the snipping tool
• Click "New"
• etc.

 

Snipping Tool Cut & Paste in Yahoo Mail

followed all the instructions.

Checked and Updated the windows........did SFC.......followed the given link and did all and at the end one more SFC......alas to my expectations it did not work.

The paste is greyed out and even edit paste is greyed out for Snipping tool cut.
