Windows 10: I need help with group policy on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC

We need to change the group policy and registry key so that we can permanently disable Windows updates, Windows defender/Antivirus and realtime protection, so we need to know which policy and which registry key needs to be changed and what to change.But anytime I try to use the run command i get "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator."I am the system administrator and this system is not logged into any accounts.An engineer was previously able to help me a long time ago figure out how to get around this.

No latest updates for Enterprise LTSC?

One last suggestion. I see from your second video that 'some settings are managed by your organization'.





This means that one or more group policies are in place for this page in Settings. Click on 'View configured update policies' to see what they are, just in case they may be delaying getting updates.

 

Windows 10 Enterprise to Windows 10 LTSC - MAK Activation

Hello,

Our software group is investigating changing our Window 10 Enterprise laptops to Windows 10 LTSC. We are considering this change because of the remote location of the laptops and the increasing issues with upgrading Windows in order to receive service/quality/security
updates. These laptops are not connected to the Internet at any time. We activate by using another computer connected to the Internet using the VAMT tool (IID and CID files). We have a MAK license with the Windows 10 Enterprise version. When I load the LTSC
over the Window 10 Enterprise 1809, the Product Keys are not valid. We thought that the same Product Keys would work with LTSC. Is this not the case, or is there another step that needs to take place?

GROUP POLICIES IN WINDOWS 10

You can change Group Policies by opening Group Policy Editor first. You can open it by following these steps:

• Log in an administrator account. If you are already logged in as an administrator, proceed to step 2.
  
• Press Windows + R to open Run.
• Type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
  

After opening Group Policy Editor, you can now make the necessary changes that you want.
