    I need help with how to delete an incompatible driver


    I tried to overclock my controller using "Lord of Mice" but in order to do this i had to turn off memory integrity, which i did but then realized i couldn't turn it back on because there was an incompatible driver, the incompatible driver: "hidusbf.sys" . i've tried checking for updates but that did nothing, how do i manually delete the driver? I have also tried deleting all the files with the overclocking software, but it did nothing.

    Deleting driver files in System 32 folder are coming up as incompatible and preventing memory integrity being turned on

    Hi Ramesh - thanks for the suggestion. They did disappear from the Aotoruns list when I deleted them. However, they're still present on the system and coming up as incompatible drivers and preventing Memory Integrity being turned back on.

    Fixing These Incompatible Drivers

    I have a list of incompatible drivers since a Windows update in July or August. I deleted all the drivers that were incomptable. However, when I did a Microsoft update today, there were optional drivers. They were for the ones that were originally incompatible. I downloaded then and guess what. They are all incompatible drivers. Windows/Microsoft are perpetuating this problem.

    Hello KRM1970,

    I had same issue like yours, though my PC is only 2 y.o. After gone thru all steps, finally I am able to sort out my problem and I hope the following steps will help yours too:

    - I also had another incompatible driver "BrUsbSib.sys" which shows relating to "oem33.inf", in addition to the one listed on your picture

    - first, go to "Turn Windows features on or off" and ensure "Virtual Machine Platform" and "Windows Hypervisor Platform" being ticked. PC will be restarted after this step

    - then go to "Device Manager", under "View" tab select "Device by driver". the "pem33.inf" comes up, I have deleted it from here.

    After done the above, I can turn on the "Core isolation" with Windows 11 on my PC. Hope the above will be helpful to you too.
