    I need Help with Miracast


    So I had an old Laptop and its bad so I would use it as a second monitor but I dont know how to connect them with or without cables then i found Miracast but i was told i need to have Wi-Fi to use Miracast then I bought a Wi-Fi adapter and I could use it but after multiple tries i got it not to the point where my pc freezes for a sec then it shows i am connected and stuff but my laptop only says:



    Protected content cant be viewed on this device

    Press Ctrl + S to open settings



    in the settings it only shows allowed devices
    and I have not found any way to do it

    Let me suggest you to contact the manufacturer of Miracast. To contact the manufacturer, please follow the steps below:

    • The name of the OEM + “contact information”
    • The name of the OEM + “PC support”

    Does Miracast support 4K?

    Hello,

    We suggest that you check with the manufacturer of the 4k display device that you are using if it is certified to work with Miracast. If your display device is certified to work with Miracast, then check if your PC device supports Miracast. You may do so
    by following the steps below:

    • Click Start, then go to Settings >
      Projecting to this PC      .
    • Check if your device supports Miracast.
