Windows 10: I need help with my wifi settings.

I have a wifi adapter in my computer for now , it’s an old one and only runs the 2.4ghz wifi. I don’t know too much about networks just from what i’ve read trying to connect this adapter and fix it. It keeps going up and down the connect and then when it gets so low it just stops running but doesn’t disconnect. I’ve downloaded appropriate drivers but the connection is very slow and unresponsive, any help? I’ve tried basic solutions even from microsoft answers

Yes, HTC S620 or HTC Excalibur has wifi built-in. To set up wifi, follow these steps:

• turn the wifi radio on by going to settings>command manager>wifi
• it should automatically give you the list of available wifi hotspots
• If the network is protected by key, it will ask you you to enter the key

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
