Windows 10: I need help with setting up Windows on a new laptop

I recently bought two 2022 Newest HP Stream 14" HD Intel Celeron laptop computers as gifts for two friends. Neither one of them are tech savvy. I live in New Mexico and my friends live in California, so I can’t offer any in-person help. I told them NOT to do anything with the computers other than to look at them to see the color and then put them back in the boxes because we couldn’t do much with them until their ISP was set up. Unfortunately, both of them opened up the computers and tried to set them up. They’re on two different “pages” of the set up for Windows.&n

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

What about MSI GS60 or Lenovo Y50? THey are light, portable and powerful... also both are 15" and in your budget. *Toast :toast:

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

To change the Account type follow the steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X, click on User Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on change your account type.
  
• 
  Select standard account.
  

To delete the account follow the steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X, click on User Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on Manage other Account.
  
• 
  Select the user account.
  
• 
  Click on Delete the account.
  

To create the new user account follow the steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X, click on User Accounts.
  
• 
  Click on Manage other Account.
  
• 
  Click on Add A new user in PC setting.
