Motorola CPS divide by zero exception windows 10

• Were there any changes that happened prior to the issue?

Only Windows Updates and deinstalling CPS version 15 and installing version 15.5.

• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Reinstalling Motorola CPS, trying older versions, deleting microsoft c++ redistributable before installation of CPS to make sure the installer installs it properly (looks ok), changing regional settings to english (now i have english system and polish keyboard
layout), verifying that the software have proper ntfs permission to its folder (looks completely fine), compared this with the other windows 10 that CPS works just fine.

• Have you installed the latest update on your PC?

Yes, i have updates installed every day from semi-annual channel.

Any ideas for troubleshooting will be much appreciated.

Hewlett-Packard driver update for HP LaserJet CP 1025nw - Error 0x80240017

On my parents Surface Pro 4 we had the same problem.

There I also installed and uninstalled the mentioned 'Full Feature Software and Driver', rebooting in between. And it turned out that after uninstalling I did not have to do 'method 2' (as I did on my laptop), I simply clicked retry in Windows Updated and
the message did not return.

However on that device we do want to have the printer installed.

So tried three ways to install the printer (after each try cleaning the system using above mentioned steps):

• via 'Devices and Printers' > 'Add devices and printers' and then installing the auto discovered printer
• via 'Print Management' manually adding a TCP/IP printer using the "HP LaserJet CP 1025nw" driver from the list (after clicking 'Windows Update' button to refresh the list)
• Just installing the 'Full Feature Software and Driver'

Sadly the first two options both resulted in the return of the problem. The third option did work completely, although that does result in more software being installed (system tray application) however using the other two ways the same software is also
put onto your system without being properly registered.

Furthermore simply uninstalling the driver (after removing the printer) via Print Management also stops Windows Update from trying (and failing) to install the driver, however this does not remove "C:\Program Files\HP\HP LaserJet Professional CP1020 Series"
from your system.
