Windows 10: I need some help, laptop with broken screen wont connect to monitor after windows update.

Hey peeps,

I have a laptop which has an broken screen onfortunately, i still use it for working at home connected with a hdmi cable to a monitor i have.

I went out for groceries and and when i came back i saw my pc closing down for a windows update. I believe it is done, but it won't show the screen on my montitor anymore. The only thing i can see on my laptop screen is two options, and whenever i press enter on one of those options. The pc just restart and goes back to the same screen. Any chance anyone knows what i can do to get it fixed again?

Laptop with broken screen How much?

I would like suggestions and look in local stores. I dont wanna buy a laptop from someone online. Sorry. But could be a good idea if you asked him about the performance on older games. Gonna make a list ofall laptops people suggest me.

Remove the screen for space purpose here its small desk and if the screen is opened it will hide my 22 inches lcd

 

laptop battery wont charge after latest update

1. Shutdown your laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Connect the AC power adapter to your laptop.

4. Power on the laptop

5. Open the Device Manager by typing Devmgmt.msc into Start Menu or from Control Panel.

6. Under the Batteries category, right-click all of the Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery listings, and select Uninstall (it’s okay if you only have 1).

7. Shutdown the laptop.

8. Insert the battery.

9. Power on the laptop.

If above suggestions wont resolve the battery charge issue then follow below steps.




Step 2

1. Shutdown the laptop.

2. Remove the battery.

3. Start the laptop with only AC adapter connected to laptop.

4. When you login to Windows OS connect the battery while Windows OS working.

There are several possible reasons why your LCD monitor suddenly stopped working. It could be that the graphic driver is outdated or could be the cable used is already damaged.

For us to isolate this problem, we would like to ask the following information:

• Were there any changes made on your computer prior to the issue?
• Have you installed any updates?

In the meantime, please try the following suggestions and see if your laptop will detect the LCD monitor:

• Update the graphic card driver. Check out Update drivers in Windows 10 for the steps.
• Use another cable. Try using another VGA cable to connect the LCD monitor to the laptop.
• Connect the LCD monitor to another computer. To help us isolate the issue, try connecting the LCD monitor to a different computer.
