Windows 10: I need some kind of to do/calendar software floating on windows and that syncs with my phone...

Hi everyone, I hope this is the right place to ask. What I need is some kind of to do list software with a calendar included so that I can meet deadlines and remember wtf I am supposed to tell others to do and do myself. It would be great if the program can "float" on top of other program windows like excel and word widget style. Also, it needs to be able to sync with my phone (android). I bet google has something that would work for me, the problem is that I work in China, hence google (and reddit) is blocked (using vpn atm). The best thing would be if Microsoft had something like this, maybe included in outlook somewhere? The outlook app on android sucks though :*(

Any advice?

Unable to sync Outlook 2007 calendar with Windows phone


Although I did search before posting this, I still have not found the solution.

Devices and Accounts:
Laptop computer with Outlook 2007 and Outlook Connector
Nokia 928 with Windows Phone 8.1
Email and accounts:
Microsoft account with gmail.com address
Outlook account with outlook.com address

I tried to follow the method described in https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2459660 I have added my Microsoft live account to Outlook 2007 using the connector. My Outlook.com email messages do sync with my phone. I can COPY my Outlook calendar to my live account as an ics file but I cannot get them to sync.

calendar sync?

IT might be helpful if you describe the steps you're taking to try and sync the calendars. I'm not sure where eMail might come into the picture.

Also describe your goal as clearly as possible. you're trying to sync a calendar on the iPhone with the Calendar App on Win10, not a calendar in an eMail client?

ical seems to be the canonical calendar format for apple - not sure - just a guess.

 

Outlook 2016 to Windows Phone --Can't sync contacts and calendar


A widespread problem? My Outlook 2016 Mail is performing normally in Windows 10 and syncing mail with my phone. However...I cannot sync my calendar or contacts into my Lumia 735. I get hints (nothing specific) from online searching that since my service provider (Time Warner) doesn't use MS Exchange, that the syncing can't be done. Can anyone verify that?
My mail is transferred cleanly, but contacts and calendar won't come over to the phone.
Any ideas about a solution?
