    school account to admin

    HI, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    In Windows, you should never set a school account to administrator on your PC because when you leave the school, they close the account and you will be locked out of your PC.

    Open the Settings App.

    Go to Accounts.

    1

    Select Your Info, do you see your own personal Microsoft Account listed there?

    2

    Select Access Work or School, is the school Email listed there?

    i need help to make my school account to an admin account because i somehow connected my account (my private account) to the school system and the school IT does not disconnect it so i need to take matters into my own hands.

    How to change admin user account name?

    ah so main admin account is 'wizzle' which is what I am currently on
    I make another account called 'wizzle2' (with admin rights)
    I sign out of 'wizzle' and sign into 'wizzle2'.
    And once signed into 'wizzle2', then I do the command prompt step and find the SID for 'wizzle' that is listed and go from there?
