    I need to change my old WPS files to Word. How do I do that?


    The convert MS Works files to Word link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=12 is giving me an error 404- Not found result.

    How to associate Word with .WPS documents in Windows 10

    Hi Gardner

    Right click any wps file, choose 'Open With' - Choose Another App

    Important - Check the box marked 'Always use this app to open wps . . .'

    If Word is not in the list, scroll to the bottom and click 'More Apps'

    Again if Word is not in the list, at the bottom, click 'Look for another app on this PC', then navigate to find the application you want to use

    Changing a wps file to microsoft

    I’m Rey, your Independent Advisor, and a Windows user, just like you.

    I understand to convert or open a WPS file to your Word program. Let's work on that.

    WPS file can be opened using Microsoft Word, and the last word version that will be able to open this program is office 2010. The good thing is that there's an online conversion that will change WPS and make it into a word or .doc file.

    I personally use this as well, you may try to upload your WPS file and convert it to .doc file and download it afterward. Here's the link:

    I cannot open any of my Office files; Word, Excel, Powerpoint

    I am working in Windows 10 home version 1909.
    Can not afford an upgrade.
    My Office files are old, dont know what version.
    Cant remember how I updated this laptop to Windows 10 months ago.
    PROBLEM:
    I can not open any of my Office files; Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
    I looked for my Windows old file as suggested, and it IS gone.
