Windows 10: I need to download a new driver for my webcam on my Dell Latitude E 5500

Discus and support I need to download a new driver for my webcam on my Dell Latitude E 5500 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I am having a problem trying to get my webcam to work correctly on my Dell Latitude E5500.     I need to download a new driver for my webcam on my Dell Latitude E 5500


    I am having a problem trying to get my webcam to work correctly on my Dell Latitude E5500. Can you please help me out.

    missing webcam drivers dell laptop

    I do not have any webcam drivers listed for my laptop, Dell Support does not have any listed on their support page to download. Dell says

    Windows 10 will download them on it's own. Please help me do this, every help page on Microsoft says to go to the manufacturers webpage to download the specific driver... please see below text from dell's website.


    • "Drivers for Integrated Webcams are pre-installed with Microsoft Windows and require no specific driver to be installed."

    My integrated webcam of my Dell latitude 3380 is black and white.

    My integrated webcam of my Dell latitude 3380 is black and white. When I got my computer it was fine, I have taken some pictures with it and they were in colour. However, when I tried to use my integrated webcam today, it was black and white in the camera
    app and Skype. Could anyone help me with this problem?

    I understand your concern with the built-in webcam of your Dell laptop.

    Based on my research this is an issue with the webcam setting. I found a forum on Dell's website that has the solution for it.
